This massive tabby concrete driveway at 41 Barre Street has officially been poured and cured!

Tabby concrete makes for a beautiful finished product, but it’s not an easy process to get there. First the forms are made and the concrete is poured and leveled. Once the concrete is poured, a special tossing technique is used to spread local South Carolina oyster shells throughout the concrete. Finally, we cover the shells with concrete to make sure they are bedded in the slab and allow it to slightly cure before washing it back.

The final steps of this project are to add the brick rowlock accent + the inlaid brick basketball court lines then we will be ready to go! 🙌
