Project Manager and Director of Maintenance - firstname.lastname@example.org
Sean Goodrich was born in South Carolina, but grew up in a U.S. Air Force family, moving frequently to live out new adventures around the country. After ultimately settling in Southern Maryland, he finished school and entered the work force. Sean soon discovered he had a talent for troubleshooting and innovation. Sean’s talent for mechanical designs and installations led to employment with government contractors in the Washington, DC area. Within a short period of time Sean was running the mechanical/HVAC department at a major U.S. Department of Defense headquarters facility requiring significant security clearances.
In 2012, a government facility with a foundering facilities and mechanical operations department recruited Sean to turn their operations around. Sean returned to Charleston, taking the reigns as the lead HVAC project coordinator and subsequently assistant project manager at this facility. Soon, his department became one other facilities began to emulate.
It was not long before Sean was pursued by an international hotel chain for the role of local Director of Engineering. Sean managed a team of engineers to maintain a 240,000 square-foot facility in downtown Charleston. His leadership and innovation resulted in increased revenue and significant cost savings for the hotel.
Sean continually sought self-improvement through advanced training opportunities. Sean earned his Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) and Project Manager Professional (PMP) certifications as well as a number of specialized technical certifications for HVAC and Mechanical Design Systems.
In 2017, Sean decided he wanted to be able to engage in project management on a more local level. His position at CKC Properties provides him the opportunity to utilize his skills in a way that provides a more localized beautification in the city that has always felt like home.
